The Department of Cardiac Sciences consists of groups involved in a wide spectrum of research into the cardiovascular system, including mechanical, molecular, biophysical, lifestyle and disease, and multi-centre patient and drug trial studies.  The Members and Research Activities pages detail information about our researchers and their work.

We are located in Calgary, Canada at the University of Calgary - Faculty of Medicine.

We are part of the Libin Cardiovascular Institute of Alberta and work with the Calgary area hospitals operated by Alberta Health Services.
